Eastbrook farmhouse

Eastbrook Valley · Switched on June 2026

The job

The owners of Eastbrook Farmhouse wanted to modernize their rural property with a solar energy system that could reduce electricity costs while supporting their growing energy needs. With wide roof sections and excellent sun exposure, the home was well suited for a high-output solar installation.

The challenge

As a countryside property, the farmhouse experienced occasional power interruptions during storms. The homeowners also wanted to preserve the property's traditional appearance while maximizing solar production. Our design balanced performance with aesthetics, keeping the installation clean and discreet.

The approach

We designed and installed a 12.4 kW solar array using 31 high-efficiency panels, paired with a home battery system for reliable backup power. Our team managed every step of the project, including roof measurements, system design, permitting, installation, inspections, and utility connection.

The project was completed in just 20 days, and the system is expected to generate approximately 17,900 kWh annually, covering nearly all of the home's electricity usage throughout the year.

"Living in a rural area, dependable backup power was essential. Solard designed a system that meets our needs while blending seamlessly with our property."
