The Harker residence
Linden Falls · Switched on March 2026

The job
The Harker family wanted to lower their monthly electricity bills while investing in a cleaner, more energy-efficient home. Their south-facing roof provided excellent solar potential, making it an ideal candidate for a high-performance residential system. After a detailed site inspection, we designed a solution tailored to their household's energy needs and future growth.
The challenge
Although the property received strong sunlight throughout the day, a detached garage and several mature trees created partial morning shade. The homeowners also wanted battery storage for backup power during occasional outages without sacrificing the clean appearance of the roof.
The approach
We installed a custom 11.2 kW solar system using 28 high-efficiency panels, paired with a 13.5 kWh battery backup system. Our team managed the complete process, including site measurements, engineering, permits, installation, inspections, and utility approval. The panel layout was optimized to avoid shaded areas while maximizing annual energy production.
The installation was completed just 19 days after the initial consultation and is expected to offset approximately 94% of the home's yearly electricity consumption.
"They came out, measured everything themselves, and the price they quoted was the price we paid. Nineteen days later it was live."
